Video games have saturated our culture for 30-something years, so if you haven't waxed nostalgic about them yet, you're way behind the curve. Catch up at "ZAP! Vintage Video Games."

"It'll be an interesting cross-generational experience… a great opportunity to show a time period that has become kind of distant," says Jody Crago, museum administrator for the city of Chandler. The opening day festivities will include a GameTruck full of contemporary games, snackage from California Pizza Kitchen, and new game designs from Rainbow Studios and the University of Advancing Technology. And don’t forget to check out the three-day Atari Flashback 2 challenge for entrants 7 and older beginning June 19.

Tuesdays-Saturdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: June 14. Continues through Sept. 6, 2008
