Right Wing, Left Wing: Coming Together on Immigration Reform

When Julie Pace was frustrated with the immigration debate in Arizona, she turned to her photography.

Pace is an attorney in Phoenix, and a fourth-generation Republican Arizonan, who's been taking photographs of nature, and butterflies for years.

She recently used a collage of her butterfly images to visualize her argument for unification on immigration policy and comprehensive reform. She writes:

Everyone agrees that our country's immigration system is broken. Differences of opinion on immigration have been used to divide the country and increase conflict. We need leadership to bring us together and solve immigration.

Pace gave posters with her designs to members of Congress with the message: "Our left and right wings cannot fly on their own, but can achieve a beautiful result when brought together."
