Royal Engagement

They don’t crown just anyone a King of Comedy -- the throne must be earned through years of making people laugh. From his roles in hit films such as Barbershop, Be Cool, Johnson Family Vacation, and Madagascar to the stand-up documented in The Original Kings of Comedy that started it all, Cedric the Entertainer is worthy of his sovereignty. The comedian will bring his skills to Stand Up Live for a weekend of comedy -- two nights, four shows -- that will be nothing if not entertaining. And, how could it not be? It’s right there in his name.
