The fall art season is in full swing in Scottsdale, where you can explore a mix of galleries and museums showing work by emerging and established creatives – including artists based right here in metro Phoenix.

Here’s a look at a dozen current and upcoming shows to help you get started.

“Scottsdale POP”
Lotus Contemporary, which relocated to Scottsdale after losing its Roosevelt Row gallery space due to redevelopment, presents a pop art exhibition of work by artists in and beyond Arizona. “Sound of Color”
Royse Contemporary is showing work by Rafael Navarro, an artist based at The Lodge on Grand Avenue in downtown Phoenix. See painting, mixed media, and sculpture that reflects his love for music, nature, and the poetry inherent in the seemingly ordinary.
