“Scottsdale POP”
Lotus Contemporary, which relocated to Scottsdale after losing its Roosevelt Row gallery space due to redevelopment, presents a pop art exhibition of work by artists in and beyond Arizona. “Sound of Color”
Royse Contemporary is showing work by Rafael Navarro, an artist based at The Lodge on Grand Avenue in downtown Phoenix. See painting, mixed media, and sculpture that reflects his love for music, nature, and the poetry inherent in the seemingly ordinary. “Heritage”
See new work by Lara Plecas, who uses paper and other ephemera to create encaustic work with intricate quilt-style patterns that prompt reflection on personal and collective histories. “Southern Exposure: Flora and Fauna”
See work created by Kelley E. Foy and Novie Trump, two artists living in the Southwest whose work is influenced by experiences in the New South, at Tilt Gallery. Foy is a maker and master craftsman. Art One Celebrates 24 Years
Art One Gallery specializes in work created by Arizona artists, including student artists, working in various media including painting, photography, and ceramics, to name a few. Marian Galczenski
See works by California-based Marian Galczenski, an artist whose earliest influences included Pablo Picasso and Piet Mondrian. “Gallery Bob Carey”
The new Fiat Lux gallery is presenting its inaugural exhibition, titled “Gallery Bob Carey: The Tutu Project and Selected Works.” The show includes several of the photographer’s self-portraits taken in pink tutus, which were created to raise awareness about breast cancer. Calvin Charles Season Kickoff
