The amount of native Phoenicians who have never seen the Grand Canyon is astonishing, but it doesn't rival the number of folks who live downtown and know very little about their hood's history. Marilyn Monroe isn’t just immortalized through a mural on Indian School Road, she also walked past the Westward Ho in Bus Stop, a location famously featured in Psycho.

The Westward Ho’s antenna makes it one of the most distinct buildings in the downtown skyline as well as in the Evans Churchill neighborhood, which comprises a sizable chunk of the arts district. This neighborhood is home to a bevy of colorful bars, shops, homes, and decades of Arizona history. The second annual Evans Churchill Interesting Interiors Tour celebrates its history with stops at 12 of the neighborhood's landmarks, businesses, and homes, between Central Avenue, Seventh Street, Interstate 10, and Fillmore Street.
