Sips & Synchro, San Tan Wheelie Jam, a Sticky Fingers Pajama Party, and the AZ Unite Women Rally Over the Weekend

Sips & Synchro at The Saguaro The Saguaro celebrates the weekend with Sips & Synchro every Friday. You can sip on something cool and slip into the pool, though most people left the swimming to the mermaids on this occasion.

SanTan Wheelie Jam at Steele Indian School Park The second SanTan Wheelie Jam was held Saturday at Steele Indian School Park. The event kicked off with a bicycle parade and carried on in the park with tall bike racing, wheelie contests, bike polo, a custom bike show, and tricycle racing, among other activities. SanTan provided beer and all proceeds benefited local bicycle groups.

Sticky Fingers Pajama Party at Bar Smith Things got a bit naughty at Bar Smith on Friday for Sticky Fingers' pajama party. The crowd wasn't quite dressed for a teenage slumber party, but there were plenty of see-through shirts and fashionable negligees to go around.

AZ Unite Women Rally at the State Capitol About 500 people gathered at the state Capitol on Saturday to voice their outrage toward recent laws passed in Arizona and around the county that restrict women's health and reproductive rights. AZ Unite Women organized the event in response to what's been coined "the war on women."
