Soundwave Music Festival Despite rain showers and unseasonable bone-chilling temperatures, hundreds of electronic music fans braved the cold and wet weather to attend the Soundwave Music Festival on Saturday, April 9, at Big Surf Waterpark in Tempe. Zombies vs. Steam Punks in Mesa On Friday night, the undead came to walk Downtown Mesa's main street. Zombies perused the art tables and stopped to listen to local musicians, and mingled with the many people dressed in Steampunk outfits -- the other theme of the night. Several vendors were selling Steampunk-style gadgets, from goggles to necklaces. Some visitors even combined the two styles, dressed as Steampunk zombies...see photos

Toby Keith at Country Thunder Last Night If Woodstock '94 holds the title for "Muddiest Music Festival, Like, Ever," then Country Thunder 2011 out in Florence over the weekend has to go down as a solid runner up.
