Spotted: Local First's New Small Wonders

Kimber Lanning and her super crew at Local First Arizona have done it again.

Presenting their collection of local businesses; each highlighted by specialty and mapped out on a conveniently sized, one stop shop for local goodness. (Maybe we should start featuring brochures that make us happy?)

More than 70 businesses -- all belonging to Local First -- sprinkle colorful maps on four different brochures: Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale and Glendale.

Local First has printed 75,000 copies of the Phoenix map (pictured below) for distribution this year. You can check out the maps online or pick up a copy at your local visitor's bureau, convention center, tourism or realty offices. They're also available at Sky Harbor International Airport and local businesses (we picked ours up at Red Hot Robot).

If you'd like to participate in Local First or give away the brochures at your business, contact Kimber Lanning.

KEEP PHOENIX NEW TIMES FREE... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
