If you happen to be a musician of a Celtic bent, then this is likely the most wonderful time of the year. Saint Patrick's Day is right around the corner, which means you're probably gonna be busy performing at green-beer-fueled celebrations all over town. And if you happen to be a fan of Celtic music, then your Irish eyes are probably smiling for the very same reason, as there will be no shortage of St. Paddy's parties taking place around the Valley. We've got a rundown on all of the best and brightest affairs taking place on Saturday, March 17 (unless otherwise specified).

Brides of March

A slew of urban pranksters and madcap merrymakers will dress in white wedding frocks and invade the drinkeries and clubs of a to-be-announced area of the Valley during a bizarre afternoon bar crawl on Saturday, March 17. Organized by the Arizona Cacaphony Society, the annual event features a mass of men and women alike sporting bridal apparel as they drink up a storm and attract plenty of stares while having a goofy good time. There's more than just green beer and corned beef and cabbage at the town's annual open-air St. Paddy's Day Festival, as the event also will feature arts and crafts, barbecues, vendors, children's play areas, and more. The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Faire kicks off at 10 a.m., with floats, marching bands, step dancers, and other participants traveling from Third Street and Virginia Avenue to the west side of the park.
