Participants will assemble at Kobalt, 3110 North Central Avenue, and get into some imbibing before departing on an alcohol-laden jaunt to nearby bars and drinkeries near the light rail. Starts at noon. Participation is free but wedding-themed costumes are mandatory.

Every drop of water shooting from the Fountain Hills fountain will be dyed emerald green during the city's St. Patrick's Day Celebration on Sunday, March 16, at the park. The yearly St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Faire once again will celebrate all things emerald during a day of fun and festivities on Saturday, March 15. Things kick off at 10 a.m. with the parade, which will depart from Third and Virginia streets and wend its way to Margaret T. Hance Park. The faire itself will feature three stages of Irish musicians and dancers, as well as games, craftsman and vendor booths, and the chance to check out the Anam Cara exhibition inside the ICC's McClelland Library. 10 a.m.; $10 for adults and teens, $8 for seniors and military, and free for kids 12 and under. The MIM once again will host the two-day "Experience Ireland" event celebrating Celtic culture on Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16. Highlights include storytellers imparting tales from the Emerald Isle, bodhrán drum workshops, performances of traditional Irish music, step-dancing demonstrations by local academies, and more. The inaugural Liquid Sol Music Festival will take place outside University of Phoenix Stadium and feature a daylong outdoor concert starring major names from the realms of rock and alternative. The lineup includes Train, The All-American Rejects, Authority Zero, Blind Melon, The BoDeans, Cracker, Ed Kowalczyk, Everclear, Fuel, The Gin Blossoms, The White Buffalo, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, and more. There are a few things that are absolutely certain to happen during St. Patrick's Day: Green beer will flow from almost every single tap, funky hats will be worn by many a bar patron, and Celtic punk legends Flogging Molly will put on a spectacular outdoor show at Tempe Beach Park. This year's edition of their annual show, which happens to be the 10th anniversary of the band's "Green 17 Tour," will feature support from Ozomatli and local heroes Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. Two days earlier, on Saturday, March 15, the park will host a day of reggae and rock when Rebelution and Atmosphere headline an outdoor festival.
