Starry, Starry Night

When you were a little girl (or an effeminate male youth), you fantasized about being a ballerina -- dancing under the night sky with fireflies, a waterfall, and ponies in the background. The woodland creatures cheered when you finished your routine. In real life, however, you took ballet for a year and dropped out when your teacher forced you to do the splits. Ouch.

Oh, well. You can still live out the fantasy at Ballet Under the Stars as you watch Ballet Arizona (the kids who didn't drop out of dance school) arabesque, brisé, and glissade across the stage at Steele Indian School Park.
