If you're looking for stellar vintage fashions it's common knowledge around these parts that Blue Jean Buyer in Scottsdale is the jam (click here to read their Best of Phoenix award).

Owner Steve Vizzerra has a keen eye for used fashion gems and a vast collection of fine Levi's products. So, of course, we can't help but to wonder what he's wearing ...

What are you wearing right now?
Always a pair of classic Levi's 501s, class them up with a nice button up dress shirt or be casual with a vintage tee and some Chuck's.

What is the last item of clothing you bought?
Ray Ban aviator sunglasses. Sunglasses are more of an accessory to most, but I consider them an important element in my wardrobe.

What is the item of clothing you most covet at the moment?
I would have to say a 1950s leather Bucco cafe style racing jacket. It's sweet!

Give us a childhood memory of you and clothes:
Even though I mostly wore my brother's hand-me-downs, I was always very particular when putting outfits together.

Name five items every man should have in his closet:
Levi's 501s blue jeans, a good pair of cowboy boots, Converse All Star sneakers, classic Western shirt, and a tailored suit coat.

Name an item of clothing that's best when it's vintage:
Levi's 501s ... good and broken.

Name an item of clothing you should NEVER buy used:
Speedo.

What is your one piece of fashion advice for Phoenix?
Be yourself, be original, don't be so hung up on chasing every trend. Don't be afraid to mix a little vintage with designer, and vice versa.
