The Bee's Knees is less than a month old, but it's already beginning to bloom.
The shop's owned and operated by Julia and Steven Helffrich, and includes handpicked clothing, shoes, accessories, house wares and artwork. The building, on 16th and Cypress streets in Phoenix, hosts several small rooms that are currently art galleries and offices, as well as a courtyard full of paintings and sculptures.
We recently visited the shop to see what all the buzz was about. Check out what we'd take, what we'd leave and why we'd go back after the jump...

One reason to go back...
The Bee's Knees is more than secondhand clothing store. The spot also functions as a gallery for local artists.
Julia and Steven have plans to host community events at the shop and expand their merchandise. That means more furniture, clothing and artwork. Oh, and they have $15 jeans. How can you resist?
The Bee's Knees is located on the corner of 16th and Cypress Streets at 2222 N. 16th Street. Visit the store Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 602-254-1641.
