Tequila Sunrise

It’s cold and we’re wimps unprepared for the winter climes. Good thing that the Phoenix Tequila Fest decided to come to town, because, you know, one of the best ways to warm up is with tequila. Lots of it.

According to the event’s Web site, the fest includes every tequila from blancos to añejos and vary in quality from the well-known ultra-premiums to handcrafted spirits straight from the heart of Mexico. There will also be a bunch of live entertainment, including the separately ticketed Christmas Mariachi Festival. Even if the holiday season isn’t your thing, feel free to drink more tequila until it is. Just make sure to take the light rail home.
Sat., Dec. 12, 12-5 p.m.; Sun., Dec. 13, 12-5 p.m., 2009
