The Annular Solar Eclipse (PHOTOS)

Millions who witnessed yesterday's annual solar eclipse raised their cameras skyward and snapped plenty of pics of the celestial event as the moon's shadow obscured the setting sun.

That includes the thousands of Arizona residents who watched the eclipse take place and used their cameras or cell phones to grab a snapshot or some video footage, like the above video clip. The eclipse was visible both in the Valley and across the state (particularly in Northern Arizona) and plenty of folks got pictures.

We've put together a slideshow of some of the better photos of the eclipse that we saw online and via various social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.

Be sure to take a look-see since the next solar eclipse won't be visible in Arizona until 2205.
