The Royal Baby Has Arrived

You can exhale now.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has given birth to a baby boy.

Clarence House confirmed that the first child of the Duchess and Prince William was delivered at a healthy 8 pounds 6 ounces at 4:24 p.m. at Saint Mary's Hospital in London after 12 hours of labor.

Although Middleton was admitted to the hospital on the morning of July 22, the frenzy of royal baby followers have been eagerly awaiting news of the child since the Daily Mail's speculative due date of July 13.

According to reports, Middleton will remain in the hospital with her son overnight, no doubt giving the eager public time to double the crowd outside Buckingham Palace.

Looks like it's time to pay up or collect your winnings from the office Royal Baby pool.
