Masquerade Ball @ Dollhouse Cocktail Lounge 'Tis the season for dressing up and partying, and Dollhouse gets in on the fun Friday night with a Masquerade Ball. DJ Aaron Taylor will serve up the beats while revelers rendezvous.

Arizona Dance Festival Showcase @ Tempe Center for the Arts Desert Dance Theatre hosts two evenings of emerging and professional dance companies, including Dulce Dance Company, performing such styles as contemporary ballet, modern, flamenco, and belly dance. Performances take place at Tempe Center for the Arts on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Call 480-350-2822 for tickets. Adult admission is $18.

Phoenix FearCON V @ UltraStar Cinemas Scare up some fun on Saturday with horror flick screenings, celeb appearances (you totes need to meet Fred Williamson, right?), a live podcast with Dr. Diabolic, and a slew of zombie-centric activities like a fashion show and apocalypse survival panel at UltraStar Cinemas on Saturday starting at noon. General admission is $15 and VIP passes are $40.

Concrete Chaos 3 @ Tempe Skate Park Tempe Skate Park is the third and final stop of the Concrete Chaos series on Saturday. From 6 to 7 p.m., skaters can register to compete in the best trick contest. And from 7 to 9 p.m., the tricksters will go all out for a chance to win a $500 purse, courtesy of Cowtown Skateboards. Load up on free pizza, music, and the best kicks, flips, and whatnots the local skate scene has to offer -- plus a demo from Aaron "Jaws" Homoki. Admission is free.

Sidewalk Sale @ LollyPOP Vintage Bargain hunters, bust out those wallets, LollyPOP Vintage and Pictures of the Past Antiques are teaming up for a one-day-only neighborhood sidewalk sale. Regularly priced items will be 20 percent off, and, per organizers, snacks, beverages, and a gift certificate will be up for grabs. Get in on the fun Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
