So much to do. So little time. So it goes with Phoenix weekends.

Whether you're down to geek out, make a splash, or craft like a mofo, get busy this weekend with our five picks for things to do in the Valley. (Be sure to browse our calendar for even more options.)

5. Go-Go Dancer Auditions @ Axis/Radius
Inside every woman, a Pussycat Doll is just waiting to break free. Maybe? We're not totally sure.

But, in case you do wish to become an official mover and shaker for Steve Levine Entertainment, the event gurus will hold auditions for go-gos to perform at EDM shows around the Valley.

If you're 18-plus and have experience dancing, don your babeliest duds (furry boots and all) and head to Axis/Radius Friday at 5 p.m. See more about Go-Go Dancer Auditions @ Axis/Radius.

4. Coffee, Cookies & Crafts @ Bragg's Pie Factory
There will be coffee. There will be cookies. And there will be crafts. Pretty self-explanatory, right? Sure. But the sixth installation of this indie craft fair and swap offers up more that its title suggests. The event promises a fashion show component, locally baked goodies, and oogles of handmade goodies from local purveyors like Strawberry Hedgehog, Moderncat Studio, and Sebastien Millon. Crafty times will be on the make at Bragg's Pie Factory on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Find out more about the Coffee, Cookies & Crafts event on Saturday.

3. Artopia @ The Saguaro
Our third annual Big Brain Awards come to a close with Saturday's Artopia, during which five winning creatives will be awarded with $500 for stellar work in the fields of performing art, fashion, design, visual art, and food. Meet the crop of 15 Big Brain Awards nominees. Scoot to The Saguaro in Scottsdale for an evening of food, drink, buyable fashion, art, and live performance, from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $15. Get the full Artopia event scoop.

2. Pool Season Kickoff Party @ Spanish Fly
Pool party times are officially upon us as of Saturday's watery bash at Spanish Fly. Shimmy into your skimpiest swimwear for an afternoon of poolside eating, drinking, and cavorting starting at noon. Admission is free. Find out more about the Pool Party Season Kickoff party at Spanish Fly.

1. LepreCon 38 @ Tempe Mission Palms
No. This is not some sort of too-late St. Patrick's Day shindig. The 38th edition of LepreCon is a fantasy and sci-fi lit conference that boasts appearances from Animal House and Babylon 5 actor Stephen Furst, comic book artist Franchesco!, and Joe Haldeman, author of The Forever War. The geek-out begins Friday and continues through Sunday at Tempe Mission Palms. Admission ranges from $15 to $45.
