Looking for ways to fill up your weekend? Here are your five best bets for getting out and about in the Valley of the Sun.

Cine de los Muertos @ Pollack Tempe Cinemas For those who didn't get their fill of Halloweirdos while partying costumed during the past week or dragging their undead selves around downtown during Zombie Walk 4, the scares don't have to end. Cult Classics presents a dastardly double feature Friday night that promises freaky, fiendish frights.

The eerie evening starts at 9:30 p.m. with a showing of Evil Dead II and continues with a screening of Night of the Living Dead at 11:05 at Pollack Tempe Cinemas on Friday. Tickets are $11 to $35.Ben Berkley of The Onion @ Changing Hands We kid you not. Ben Berkley, an editor from infamous satirical news site The Onion, brings The Onion Book of Known Knowledge: A Definitive Encyclopaedia of Existing Information to Changing Hands Bookstore on Saturday. (Full disclosure: we totes went to school with Berkley.) He'll chat about the essential compendium, which reportedly is pre-creased to open right to the Gerald Ford section, starting at 7 p.m. Admission is free with book purchase, $29.99.

Pray for Snow Rail Jam @ Dos Gringos While prayers for snow in metro Phoenix are probably about as useful as prayers for reasonable political leaders ('scuse us while we lol), we have to admit that we're on board with the snowboarding fun going down at Dos Gringos Scottsdale during the bar's Pray for Snow Rail Jam. From 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., the Craftsman Court block party will mark the halfway-to-Cinco point on the calendar with 25 tons of snow and some extreme sport entertainment. Admission is $10.

Steve O @ Stand Up Live We cannot, in good faith, recommend following in the footsteps of noted daredevil and Jackass alum Steve O, a man who has accomplished such feats as piercing together his butt cheeks together, tattooing his likeness on his own body, and swallowed live goldfish. But we can say that hearing about and/or seeing his stunts is pretty entertaining. Get an earful of engrossing tales from the clown college grad at Stand Up Live on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are $20 and there's a two-drink minimum.

Día de los Muertos Festival @ Dr. AJ Chandler Park For a real deal celebration of Dia de los Muertos, head to downtown Chandler for a daylong festival including performances, folk art, music, competitive salsa dancing, a candlelight procession, and a community altar. Admission is free. The event takes place at AJ Chandler Park from 11 a.m. 6 p.m. on Saturday.
