UFC, the premier organization for mixed martial arts, is hosting its first-ever event in Arizona on Saturday, December 13 at the US Airways Center. It will be broadcast internationally as the UFC's 13th event on Fox.

Though no fights are set for the card yet, the main event for the UFC Fight Night event is rumored to be a featherweight clash between former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and perennial contender Cub Swanson, though Swanson denies that the fight is taking place.

The card could also feature several of Arizona's most prominent UFC fighters such as Benson Henderson, Ryan Bader, and Jamie Varner depending on their health and/or outcome of their next fights.

Other MMA organizations such as Strikeforce, Bellator and WEC have visited Arizona in the past, but UFC on Fox 13 will be the biggest MMA event Arizona has ever seen.

Check the event's page on UFC.com for the official fight card details and ticket info as it becomes available.
