What: Maybe we're getting a little ahead of ourselves looking at all the upcoming fall festivals and Target's already-happening Halloween section, but we think it's time to start hunting for the perfect coat. This tagless vintage peacoat fits in with fall and winter's white trend (albeit much less severely) in a textured wool with lovely sunburst seams stemming from the back collar.

Where: Deseret Industries

Cost: $11

Style It: Bold fall colors complement the ivory coat. Kain's linen-silk blue dress builds shape and structure beneath the heavy peacoat, while the Lanvin teal leather gloves provide extra warmth and leopard-print rabbit fur APC bag combine to up the ladylike ante. Contrasting the blues and neutrals are pops of autumnal oranges in the Mulberry kitten heels, resin voodoo doll Marni earrings, and an amber hair clip from Dolce & Gabbana.

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
