Grab a blanket and heat up the microwave popcorn because your onscreen entertainment is heading outdoors. This Saturday, October 5, IFP Phoenix and the Phoenix Film Festival are teaming up to bring a local lineup of indie cinema to Civic Space Park with Filmstock Showcases Indie Spirit.
Starting at 7 p.m., Filmstock will screen 90 minutes of free outside entertainment with films including BAK: The Tallest Mural in Arizona, Ritz & Spitz, Dan Triumphant, Superfuzz, Keeper of the Mountains, Eyes Manouche, and Vinyl, as well as six shorts from the IFP Phoenix Filmmaker Challenges.
Film screenings will be followed by a presentation from members of the Phoenix filmmaking community. For more information on Filmstock visit www.filmstockfilmfestival.com.
