One of the nice things about living in Arizona is being able to endure winter parades, which is why you should take advantage of holiday traditions including Glendale Glitters.
Beginning November 23 and continuing nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. through January 12, you can walk around and enjoy the sight of 1.5 million lights decorating the Glendale's Historic Downtown without the need for a parka or the fear or frostbite. The festival will feature holiday shopping, horse-drawn carriages, food, live entertainment, and more.
As Arizona's largest free light display, this event is open all ages. So feel free to grab some egg nog and bring the family- or better yet, spike egg nog and take few friends who are tripping on E and watch their minds get absolutely blown.
For more information visit the City of Glendale online or call the event hotline at 623-930-2299.
