Girl groups of the '60s made their musical mark with pristine pop, manicured beehives, and incomparable harmonies. Same's true of The Wonderettes, a high school prom quartet of young ladies with big voices. Phoenix Theatre's production of The Marvelous Wonderettes is as much a musical as a nostalgia piece, with songs including Lollipop and Stupid Cupid leading the way.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Jan. 11. Continues through Feb. 5, 2012
