If nothingness is somethingness and every little thing matters just as much as it doesn’t and all of this intrigues you, scares you, and also might not make any sense, then make your way to Cecily Culver’s multimedia exhibition “Other Observations.” The ASU masters of fine arts candidate presents works that look to celebrate the “mundane phenomena of the everyday.” With imagery that boggles the mind and plays with perspectives that could appear to be extreme close-ups or universe-spanning snapshots, Culver considers how and where everything fits in. Her thesis exhibition is on view through April 25 inside Step Gallery at Grant Street Studios, 605 East Grant Street. Hours on Friday, April 17, are noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
