Food, Beer & Wine Samples at the 8th Annual Certified Local Fall Festival

Think there's no such thing as starting holiday shopping too early? Stock up on local goodies this Saturday, November 10, at Local First's 8th Annual Certified Local Fall Festival. Attendees get free access to vendors like Frances Boutique, State Bicycle Co., and Practical Art.

There will also be a rock climbing wall, bouncy castle, Diamondbacks batting cage, kids' craft booth, "techie" games from ASU's College of Technology and Innovation, and live music. The first 500 people get a free gift bag, so get there early; the festival opens at 10 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. at the Portland Parkway in downtown Phoenix.

While you're there, make a meal out of the $1 food samples on offer from 20+ vendors, and enjoy drinks in the Beer & Wine Garden ($10 entry), where local breweries and vineyards, including SanTan Brewing and Dos Cabezas WineWorks, will be pouring their specialties. Short Leash Hot Dogs, Windsor, green, The Parlor Pizzeria, and Urban Cookies Bakeshop are just some of the local favorites who will be serving various eats and treats throughout the festival.
