Construction is coming to an end at the newest restaurant concept from popular grocery and pizza spot La Grande Orange in Arcadia.
Once used for much-needed additional parking, the northwest corner lot of Campbell and 40th Street (across from LGO) now sports a cylindrical structure of gleaming metal and brick designed by Phoenix-based architect Will Bruder.
Called Ingo's Tasty Food, the name is said to be inspired by a German music teacher one of LGO's partners had while studying violin and guitar as a child. But let's face it, the caveman-ish version ("In goes tasty food!") is much more enjoyable.

According to Ingo's website, the restaurant will feature an eating counter, picnic seating, and an outdoor wine and beer garden. A simple lunch and dinner menu will offer dishes such as homemade pretzels, grass-fed beef burgers, veggie burgers, and brown rice bowls. All items will be available to go.
Ingo's is tentatively planned to open in about two weeks. The restaurant is currently hiring service and kitchen professionals. Open interviews will take place onsite at the corner of 40th Street and Campbell Avenue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
