This St. Patrick's Day (yes, we're already talking about St. Patrick's Day -- rather, the day before), Double Check Ranch is going green, with a one-night-only event they're calling "Celebrating Green: A Beyond Organic Pasture Dinner."
This exclusive farm to table event hosted by Double Check Ranch, will be served on pasture at the Ranch's scenic Winkelman, March 16 from 2 to 8 p.m.
The six-course dinner and drinks menu created by Chef John Hall (former owner/operator at Canela Bistro and now chef at Chris Bianco's Italian Restaurant) will feature all forms of Arizona-grown and raised goods including: meats, cheeses, baked goods, produce- and let's not forget, locally crafted beer and wine.
"It's exciting for me to see this coming together," says Double Check Ranch owner Paul Schwennesen. "We've done dinners like this at the ranch before [i.e. Outstanding in the Field], but never on our own. It's a great opportunity for us to be able to shine a light on all the Arizonans doing so many great things, from farmers to producers to chefs to their supporters; to be able to get people out onto the land and enjoy this at an approachable price."
Tickets to this unique, and certainly classier, alternative to St. Patrick's Day dining and drinking are currently being offered at the discounted price of $85 per person through February 19. For an additional $25, guests can also receive round-trip transportation to the Ranch from either Phoenix or Tucson.
