Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?
Our minds practically exploded when we found out about Mesa's (we're talking deep Mesa, like Queen Creek Mesa) newest farmers market. Get this -- it's on a farm! The Super Farm Market is located at Superstition Farms off Elliot just east of the Santan Freeway. The new indoor farmers market starts tonight and will run every Thursday from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Vendors include meat from Double Check Ranch, Bread from Great Harvest, salts and sugars from Go LB. Salt and dairy items including fresh eggs, milk, cheese and butter right from the farm, plus seafood, local sweets and more. They will even have the grill fired up so you can grab dinner right there on the farm. Hayrides and a petting zoo will also be in full effect for the kiddos. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

Ahhh still words to live by. Thanks Iona. This cake makes us want to spend our Thursday night baking and watch classic 80's movies. We love the vibrant pink against the white frosting. Food blogger Bella just happens to be hording this and tons more food porn over at her site, "What You Give Away You Get Back". Check it out here.
