Ten bucks will get you in the gate, while food tastings from local restaurants such as Amaro Pizzeria, Binkley's, Bryan's Black Mountain BBQ, Cafe Bink, Cartwright's, El Encanto, Le Sans Souci and Tonto Bar & Grill (to name a few) range from $1 to $4 each.
Here's what else you can expect:
The International Chili Society will conduct the first-ever Tim & Willy Cave Creek Chili Cook-Off both nights (green chili on Wednesday, red chili on Thursday), offering $1750 in prize money each night. There will also be a music competition both nights featuring more than 50 entries competing for cash and prizes.
Not amused enough yet? How about a wine and craft beer garden, tequila tastings and an art exhibit and sale put on by the Sonoran Arts League? On Wednesday night, The Herndon Brothers + Tim and Willy's All Earl Band will play from 6 to 10 p.m. At the festival, you can also pick up a $10 copy of the just released Taste of Cave Creek Cookbook, which features recipes (many Southwestern-inspired) from the restaurants participating in the event.
