Last week we kicked off a contest to win a copy of mixologist Kim Haasarud's latest book, 101 Tropical Drinks. All you have to do is share your best cocktail recipe and you could be one of two people to take home the book and get a front row seat when she comes to Tempe's Changing Hands Bookstore later this week. She'll be mixing up a couple of her favorite tropical cocktail recipes and signing copies of the new book.

And even though we said we were closing the entries yesterday at noon, we've got some good news for you procrastinators out there. You've got a couple more days to give us your best shot at cocktail celebrity. But you'll need to act fast, the event goes down this Thursday, August 22 at 7 p.m. and the contest will close tomorrow Wednesday, August 21 at 6 p.m.

In case you forgot, here's how the contest works:

You share your best cocktail creation in the comment section below complete with ingredients, instructions and of course, a kick-ass name. Don't forget to include your name and e-mail address, so we can let you know if you win. Then we'll choose two winners who will each receive a free copy of Kim Haasrud's 101 Tropical Drinks as well as a front row seat to the August 22 book signing and cocktail-tasting event at Changing Hands.

Good luck!
