Nirvana can be achieved just off Hwy 101 and Thomas Rd., at the rich, shaded 20 acres of Singh Farms. Every Saturday from 8am to 1pm, Ken and Lee Singh open up their farmers' market to the general public. Otherwise, the couple sell to individual hotels and restaurants the rest of the week when not farming.

"What I want folks to see is this can be done in the desert, without chemicals," says Ken Singh.

Check out the slideshow of the farm and its fresh produce.
