Sparkling Wine Dinner with Gruet
Next Thursday, December 8th, Cheuvront's is hosting a not-to-miss Sparkling Wine Dinner with some of the finest sparkling wines from Gruet, a winery that just happens to be located in our neighboring state, New Mexico. Dinner starts with your choice of a Veloute soup with leeks, carrots, and roasted shallots or a phyllo "cigar" stuffed with sauteed mushrooms and spinach served over a warm goat cheese fondue. For the main course, choose from a apan seared skirt steak with foie gras hollandaise or an herb crusted chicken breast with a Chablis sauce. Dark chocolate cake will be served for dessert and each course will be paired with a glass of Gruet. $45++ per person, reservations required, vegetarian entree available upon request. Call 602-307-0022 to   make your reservations.

Panini Grilled Pears
We're still trucking along with our eating healthy before the holidays kick -- but it's getting kinda boring. We want dessert. Good thing we came across this great idea. Throw a pear on the grill then top it off with Greek yogurt and almonds. Delish!
