In April, when I asked Fox Restaurant Concepts, the company headed up by restaurateur and 2012 James Beard Award semifinalist Sam Fox, to respond to a rumor I'd heard about them leasing some land on Camelback Road, a representative told me the business wasn't ready to make any announcements.
Now, almost four months later, it looks as if the time has come.
The Republic reports Fox Restaurant Concepts (FRC) is moving its headquarters from Scottsdale to Arcadia, to an office complex made up of five buildings on seven acres called the Park, located at 4455 East Camelback Road (Camelback and 44th Street.)
Jami Reagan, a spokeswoman for FRC, told the Republic the company needed more space and the site was chosen because of its central location to the Scottsdale and Phoenix communities. In fact, NoRTH Fattoria, the eatery the company opened last November at 40th Street and Camelback, is just a short distance away.
The Republic goes on to say FRC's headquarters will also house a 6,400-square-foot restaurant with a yet-to-be-determined concept.
