Firebirds Restaurants are teaming up with Sequoia Grove Winery to help save their namesake trees. Sequoia Grove is a family owned, boutique winery named after one of the last remaining groves in Napa Valley. Stop by one of the two Firebirds locations in town and pick up a bottle of Sequoia Grove 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. Starting today, Firebirds will donate 10% of the proceeds to the Sequoia Parks Foundation. This deal is good until October 31st, buy multiple bottle and save multiple trees!
Phoenix Cooks!
Clear your calender for Saturday September 4th and get ready for the 6th Annual Phoenix Cooks - Where Food Happens! event at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort. From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. learn the latest in mixology techniques, watch celebrity chef demonstrations, and of course sample food, beer, wine and spirits throughout the day. Don't forget to cheer your favorite barista on in the 1st Annual Latte Art Throw-down while your there. Tickets for this event are $75 per person and culinary classes are an extra $8 per person/per class. A portion of proceeds will be benefiting the Phoenix Children's Hospital. Bacon and Eggs and Toast
It's day three of a week of bacon for National Bacon Day(which is Saturday). As promised, today's bacon treat is Bacon and Eggs Cups. These breakfast treats have all the components for a bacon and egg breakfast, including buttered toast, in a cute compact package. Look out for Bacon Caramel tomorrow.
