Another local restaurant has fallen by the wayside.
Just got word that contemporary American spot Central Grille officially notified friends and associates by email that its last day in business was Easter Sunday. Unofficial word is that the closing had less to do with the business itself and more to do with the owner's other financial obligations.
Last summer, the Sunnyslope restaurant underwent a major menu transformation after executive chef Bruce Griffin III came on board. Griffin had worked for chef Traci des Jardins in his native San Francisco before coming to Arizona to work at award-winning Kai and kitchens at other Starwood properties.
