Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Weekend Time
If you happen to be in Mesa tonight, Stop by Sun Devil Liquors for a beer tasting with Dogfish Head Beers. From 6 to 8 p.m. in the cellar, dogfish Head will pull out 5 of their rare brews including Squall IPA, Red & White, Sahtea, Theobroma, and our personal favorite, Black & Blue. All of these beers are produced in limited batches and never stick around for long. $10 per person. Click here for details.

Early Saturday afternoon, don't forget to check out the Foodies Like Us and Arcadia Fine Wine's Foodie Fight 2 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Sub Zero and Wolf Showroom in Scottsdale. Click here to read more.

Afterwards, or if 11 a.m. is too early for you, Hit up Cheuvront Wine Bar in Phoenix for a special afternoon Wine Tasting. From 3 till 4:30 you can sample 6 of Arizona's best limited production wines from wineries including Oak Creek, Carron Vineyards, and Juniper Well Ranch. Light appetizers will be provided and the tasting will run you a mere $15 per person.

Who's Ready for Football?
Football season officially started yesterday but we consider Sunday to be the big day. Even if you hate football, it's a good excuse to stuff your face with delicious snacks. Try your hand at these Cocoa Krispie Football Treats, shake up a batch of Cajun Spiced Roasted Garbanzo Beans, or get wrapped up with these Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers. Touchdown!
