Since its opening in 1929, the Arizona Biltmore Resort, located in Phoenix near 24th Street and Camelback Road, has been carrying on the 200-year-old English pastime of afternoon tea. Now, in its 82nd year, the Arizona landmark is planning to delight tea freaks and the infusion-curious alike by continuing the tradition along with a new menu of sandwiches and desserts.

With two seating times available (12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.), and starting Thursday through Sunday from November 4, through Mother's Day, May 13, 2012, there's no excuse not to be part of tradition, especially with Tea Sommelier Kevin Doyle on hand to educate, explain, and answer questions on both the tea and menu selections.

Along with an array of black, green, and white teas and infusions, the new food menu includes items such as lobster dill salad cream puffs, prosciutto melon lollipops, minted cucumber with Fossil Creek goat cheese on onion bread, and a monthly scone and dessert menu which includes holiday goodies like egg nog spiced pound cake and white chocolate peppermint scones.
