BOP A'Fare

Don't miss your chance to hang out with the cool people at the 12th Annual Best of Phoenix A'Fare. This year, we will be transforming the ol' Borders book store at the Biltmore Fashion Park into party central and you're invited to join in the fun. Saturday, October 8th join Phoenix New Times, several hundred of your closest friends, and more than 35 Valley restaurants for an evening of food, music, and of course, plenty of booze. Sample food from Baby Kay's and Sprinkles Cupcakes (to name just a couple) and cocktails from Sailor Jerry's, Stoli, wine from One Hope Wine, and beer from Budweiser and Stella. Music, dancing, pretty people — all the making for a super awesome party. Tickets are $35 per person and this event is 21+. Proceeds will benefit the Arts & Business Council of Greater Phoenix. Click here for all the details and to reserve your spot.

Snails!

Some days we just want to look at cute stuff — we don't want to make any of it, just admire the crafty work of others. Today is one of those days. We found these extra adorable Macaron Snails on one of our favorite food blogs, Blendy. They haven't been updating very often but with two new posts up, we hope they get back into the swing of things. Check 'em out here
