Beer Week
We know what you're thinking. "Wasn't beer week like three months ago?" Yes but that was Arizona Beer Week. This week is American Beer Week and SanTan Brewery has big plans.

Sorry fellas, the first event is only for the ladies. Tonight is "Manless Monday". For $20 ++ sample four different beers paired with four different ice creams from none other than the ladies of Sweet Republic. Boys don't like bacon-flavored ice cream anyway, right?

Thursday night, SanTan is teaming up with beer-makers 21st Amendment and Mammoth for a fundraising beer dinner to help raise money for youth music education. Duck & white bean chili, Frito crusted catfish, coffee rubbed short ribs, and shoo fly pie are all on the menu and will all be paired with outstanding beers from all three breweries. $49 ++ per person.

And the big beer week event --- The Ameri"Can" Beer Festival is this Saturday in historic downtown Chandler. Over 40 local & national breweries will be sampling the finest in canned craft beer. Live music, food, more food, and beer Olympics will join in the fun. This is a 21 + event.

Check out the SanTan website for more info on these events and more.

Beer Brownies
In honor of American Beer Week, we will be crafting our own booze-filled treat -- Chocolate Beer Brownies. Made with rich, chocolatey Young's Double Chocolate Stout, we suspect there will be no going back to boring sober brownies again.
