It's that time of year again. Time for Phoenix Fashion Week to announce the top emerging designers of 2014. Following a 10-city tour across the country, one of the largest fashion industry events in the Southwest will hold its sixth annual official announcement ceremony tonight, June 13, at 7 p.m. at TONI&GUY Academy in Scottsdale.

This year's 14 Phoenix Fashion Week Emerging Designers include Seattle's Atiz, Colorado Springs' Blackberry Maverick, San Francisco's Charmosa Swimwear, St. Louis's Jacqueline Nicole, Los Angeles's RAYAN, New York City's Schuylark Design, Provo, Utah's POINT&HUE, and Phoenix designers Hues of Ego, Kismit, Lillienne Lang, Misha Mendicino Designs, Saba Khan, State Forty Eight, and Woman's Touch Apparel.
After making their debut at the official announcement event, the 2014 Emerging Designer line-up will enter a four-month fashion bootcamp. From there, they'll hand it over to the models to strut their stuff on the runway at Talking Stick Resort for Phoenix Fashion Week's fall shows, October 1 through 4, and a chance to win the coveted title of "Designer of the Year," plus a prize package valued at $10,000 to help launch their emerging brand.
Last year's winner was Katya Leoncio's swimwear brand Dolcessa. The 2013 Designer of the Year award-winner has since landed her line in multiple retails stores, including national retailer Molly Brown, and been featured the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
Tonight's Phoenix Fashion Week Emerging Designer Announcement kicks off at 7 p.m. with a fashion show, trunk sale, TONI&GUY Braid Bar, drinks, and appetizers, followed by a free after-party at 10 p.m. at Hotel Indigo.
