Style Mixer and Fashion Speak

Presence 4.0, Beyond Buckskin, and RezonateArt are teaming to bring you an evening of fashion-focused discussion from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at SoChu House. With help from panel moderator Jessica R. Metcalfe, designers Alano Edzerza, Sho Sho Esquiro, Jared Yazzie, and Bethany Yellowtail will hold a public conversation about their thoughts and experiences as industry insiders. Following their talk, guests will be able to mix, mingle, and maybe even pick up a few items from the Native Fashion trunk show featuring pieces from Rezonate Art and Metcalfe's Beyond Buckskin Boutique. Paint PHX Blockparty

Paint PHX is back and bigger than ever. The second annual mural event has upped its game by adding a free blockparty to the artsy agenda. The event, which happens from 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, along Fifth Street in Roosevelt Row , will offer live music and DJ sets, skateboard demos by Apache Skateboards, a lowrider show, a beer garden, food and art vendors, as well as live mural painting, screen printing, and art battles. Four Chambers Presents Poetry and Prose for the Phoenix Art Museum

To celebrate the release of its newest collection of literary works, Poetry and Prose, Four Chambers Press it putting on a special evening of live readings and walking tours at Phoenix Art Museum. Walking tours will depart at 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. on Friday, March 6, and feature readings from Phoenix writers and poets including Mackenzie Brennan, Rosemarie Dombrowski, Jared Duran, Holly Hendin, Allegra Hyde, Kimberly Mathes, Kelly Nelson, Shawnte Orion, and Garrett Smith.
