This week in reality-television meltdowns: Camille Grammer invited Allison DuBois to her dinner party for the latest episode of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, aptly titled "Dinner Party From Hell."
DuBois, a Phoenix-based psychic/medium New Times profiled in 2008, achieved quasi-celebrity fame after the debut of Medium, a show "based" on DuBois' life and conversations with the dead (produced by Camille's soon-to-be ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer).
The recipe for disaster: Model/actress Grammer, ghost-talker DuBois, Hollywood designer/model Faye Resnick, actress Kyle Richards, a few other unnamed socialites, and a bunch of cocktails at Grammer's Malibu dining room table.
"My dad said live life large and make no apologies for who you are," says DuBois during one of the many arguments at the table. "I don't give a shit what she says about me! She can fuck off. I can tell you when she will die, and what will happen to her family. I love that about me!"
Check out episode clips and details on DuBois' upcoming book tour after the jump ...
In March 2011, DuBois will be starting a national seminar tour where she'll be sharing "her life experiences and answering audience questions."
She writes about her stop in Phoenix on May 7: "Phoenix is the city I was born in and one of my favorite cities in the world. I have had some incredible events there. This is scheduled around Mother's Day for those of you that have lost a mother and want a place to feel connected to the women in your life."
Tickets are $95 dollars and VIP, meet-and-greet tickets are $150 and can be purchased online, but fair warning: DuBois admitted on Real Housewives to being somewhat of a drug:
"I was studied by a scientist for several years on Oprah in front of 70 million people and I'm kind of like a drug. Once you get one, you kinda want it again."
