Celebrate the last of summer's cruel and unrelenting heat by getting on your bike and going to Clark Park at the end of this month. There you'll be joined by other hip local cycling enthusiasts looking to claim victory over their cohorts in feats of bike prowess. Plus, there will totally be PBR and stuff, because of course.

It's time to shine up that neon colored fixie you've kept stored away all summer because Heavy Pedal and Fix-Set's Summer Bike Games are kicking off at Clark Park on Saturday, September 27, at 7 p.m.

Whether you're the king (or queen) of track stands or you've got an incurable need for speed that's only satiated by riding your blazing saddle in an alley cat race, there'll be an event to get you back on your bike and riding.

For spectators, the event promises some free beer courtesy of PBR, and DJ JJ Keo pumping up the jams.

Entrance to the event is $5 for the events and after party and includes a raffle ticket with purchase. Additional raffle tickets can be bought for $2. For more information and to keep updated, visit the Summer Bike Games Facebook event page.
