Robert Brunner Lecture: Being Driven by Design

The ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts is inviting students and the general public to attend its latest installment of the Design School Lecture Series: "Being Driven by Design." Led by Robert Brunner the founder of the San Francisco-based Ammunition, this lecture will explore the many questions creatives face in what is being called "a new Golden Age of Design." The free lecture starts at 6 p.m. tonight, October 14, in room 60 of the Design North building.

Nerd Nite 21: Historical Phalluses and Amazonian Bondage Queens

Nerd Nite 21 is taking on some racy, albeit well thought-out topics on Thursday, October 16 at Carly's Bistro. The evening will kick off at 7:30 p.m. with Kassie Lamp and Mike Zajac's rousing presentation, "Ancient Dick Pics: Phallic Depictions in Art before 500 AD," followed by Ashley Naftule's discussion ""Amazonian Bondage Queens: William Moulton Marston and the kinky origins of Wonder Woman". Movies in the Park: Good Will Hunting

Biltmore Fashion Park is continuing its outdoor movie series with a special screening of Good Will Hunting at 7:30 p.m. on the center lawn. Alcoholic beverages will not allowed however filmgoers are welcome to bring their snacks and blankets. Seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
