Downtown Chandler's third annual Oktoberfest celebration hits SanTan Brewing Company this Saturday and promises to feature a host of traditional activities: Bratwurst-eating, polka music, Bavarian-style biergartens, and ... a beer pong tournament? A Big Two Toyota-sponsored strongest man competition?

Okay, so maybe the event won't be all traditional activities. But we caught up with president of the Arizona Accordion Club and authentic Oktoberfest entertainer Jack Dermody to teach us how to toast like a German before Saturday's festivities.

More info on the event and a video interview with Demody giving instructions on how to toast after the jump...

About 5,000 people are expected to gather at SanTan Brewing Company (located at 8 S. San Marcos Place, between Arizona Avenue and Buffalo Street) for Saturday's event, where the celebration will run from 2-11p.m.

Tickets are available for $10 at SanTan Brewing Company. For more information, call (480) 917-8700 or visit www.santanbrewing.com.
