Downtown living opportunities are definitely on the rise -- what with last year's opening of Roosevelt Point, the newly available CityScape Residences, and, beginning this fall, the construction of Portland Place's adjacent sister property, Portland on the Park.
The projected $75 million development by Habitat Metro (in partnership with Sunbelt Holdings) will be situated along Central Avenue between Portland Park and Margaret T. Hance Park, giving residents prime access to downtown amenities including the light rail, Roosevelt Row Arts District, and Japanese Friendship Garden .

Portland on the Park will feature 170 lofts and condominiums spread out among towers of four, 12, and 14 stories. The 21 potential floor plans, available with one, two, or three bedrooms, will range in size from 745 square feet to 2,381 square feet.
Highlights of the upcoming development include 7,200 square feet of commercial space including a wine bar, coffee shop, and restaurant, as well as bike storage, electric car charging stations, a residential workout facility, roof access, and a resort-style pool.
Expected completion date for the Portland on the Park is mid-2016. Home sales will start in the low $200,000s, and penthouses suites will list under $1 million. For details about the project or to register for updates, preview invites, and more, visit www.portlandparkcondos.com.
