FYI, DVF fans. One of your favorite designer brands just got a lot more accessible thanks to the new Diane von Furstenberg store, which opened its doors Tuesday, July 1, at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall.

Although the high-end line best known for its signature wrap dresses and bold prints could already be found in designer departments at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, DVF Scottsdale, which just so happens to be the first DVF store in the Southwest, promises to offer a wider selection of exclusive fashion, handbags, and accessories.

To celebrate its grand opening, on Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6, starting at 11 a.m., DVF will host a catered shopping experience with small barbecued eats and champagne plus a special weekend promotion awarding free $50 gift certificates for future use to anyone that spends $400 or more in the store. And seeing as most dresses start around $400, that shouldn't be too hard to do.

Additionally, DVF Scottsdale will also be holding a handbag raffle every Sunday throughout the month of July. To enter to win, shoppers must fill out a client card in the store.

DVF is located between Michael Kors and Tory Burch and next to Macy's on the lower level of Fashion Square Mall. For more information on DVF and updates on future store events, visit www.dvf.com.
