Based on the book series Mabel Leo and the play by Terry Earp, Durant's Never Closes is a fictionalized biopic of Jack Durant, a Phoenix restaurateur with rumored connections to the mob.
Production for the film will begin in November and be set in locations throughout the Valley. Although Running Wild Films already held its first casting call back in June, they will be conducting a second casting all at the Clarendon Hotel Saturday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Casters are look for male and female adult actors to play a variety of characters. All speaking speaking roles will be paid. Because this is the second casting call, priority will be given to those who were initially turned away due to the number of people who showed up at the previous casting call. Auditions are five minutes per person and will be presented as a cold read. Interested actors are encouraged to dress normally and bring a head shot and resume.
