Get Ready for a Downtown Croquet Tournament During Chow Bella and Roosevelt Row's Annual Pie Social in November

While the pie fiends at Chow Bella and Roosevelt Row are busy drooling over pie crust recipes and celebrity judge announcements for the third annual Pie Social, we've been drumming our fingers in anticipation for the inaugural croquet tournament.

In addition to the mass consumption of community and celebrity pies on November 3, the social will include a showcase of local art and semi-athletic talent -- Pie Social attendees and community members are welcome to try their hand at a few rounds of croquet on the activated lot on Second and Roosevelt streets.

Roosevelt Row is currently working with members of the ASU Sculpture Club to create a series of wickets for the game, which will be open to the public (on a pay per play basis) from 2 to 6 p.m..

The celebrity pie-makers were announced this morning on Chow Bella, and pie makers of all levels are welcome to bring two pies for 5 tasting tickets (or bring $10 for 5 tickets) on the day of the event.

Chow Bella will be profiling each of the bakers and we'll be checking in on the wicket artists for the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
